    Geodetic layout and marking

    Before the first dig, our team or a partner geodesist accurately lays out the contours of the future excavation according to the architectural design. We use a total station and GPS rover to mark all corners and benchmarks, ensuring precise positioning of the building on the property.

    Removal and deposition of topsoil

    We carefully remove the top fertile soil layer (usually 20-30 cm) and store it in a designated area on the property. This material is valuable and is preserved for subsequent landscaping and vertical planning activities, saving you costs.

    Mass excavation to design level

    Using heavy machinery (tracked excavators 20+ tonnes), we perform the main volume of the excavation. The process is constantly controlled with a laser level, mounted in the cabin or with an external receiver, to reach the design depth efficiently and without over-digging.

    Documentation for work performed

    Upon completion of excavation activities, we provide the client with a work completion report, including data on the achieved excavation level, performed volumes, and documents from the landfill for accepted excavated earth. This serves as part of the official construction documentation for the site.

      After signing the contract, we arrange the delivery of the necessary equipment to the site. This includes transporting the excavator on a platform, the arrival of dump trucks, and positioning auxiliary equipment such as laser levels and pumps.       5. Excavation execution with constant control

      The actual work of removing earth masses begins. The excavator operator works in sync with a field technician who constantly monitors the depth with a laser receiver. Excavation is carried out in layers to ensure slope stability. The process is dynamic and adapted to real geological conditions.

      6. Logistics and management of excavated soil

      Simultaneously with the excavation, we organize transportation logistics. The excavator directly loads the dump trucks, which transport the material to a landfill along a pre-determined route.       7. Final clearing and levelling

      After reaching the design level, the bottom of the excavation is cleared and levelled with a grading bucket to perfect flatness. A final inspection of all dimensions and levels is carried out in the presence of the building supervisor or client. The slopes are finally shaped to be safe.

    Machinery, equipment and materials

    For precise excavation works, we use not only machines but also specialized equipment for control and temporary safety structures.

    Heavy tracked excavators (20-30 tonne class)

    We use machines like Caterpillar 323 or Komatsu PC210LC for large-scale excavations. They provide high productivity (up to 80-120 m³/hour) and digging depth up to 7 meters. They are equipped with GPS systems and various buckets (rock, standard, grading) for maximum efficiency depending on the soil type.

    Mini-excavators (3-5 tonne class)

    For tight spaces, trenches, and precise work around existing buildings, we rely on compact machines like the JCB 8029 CTS. They can pass through openings up to 1.8 meters and cause minimal damage to the surrounding area. Ideal for excavations for swimming pools, fences, or utility connections in built-up properties.

    Laser control equipment (Leica/Topcon)

    Every one of our sites is controlled with a rotary laser level such as the Leica Rugby 640.     Certified fractional material for backfill

    When backfilling trenches or replacing weak soil is necessary, we use only certified crushed stone of a specific fraction (e.g., 0-63 mm or 32-63 mm). The material is laid in layers 20-30 cm thick and compacted with a vibrating compactor to achieve the design density (e.g., >95% according to Proctor).
