What does our plastering service include?
Every stage of the process is crucial for the final result. Our package includes the following activities:
Site and surface preparation
Thorough cleaning of all walls and ceilings from dust, construction debris, and unstable particles. Installation of protective foil on floors, window frames, and installations to protect them from contamination. We secure the work area for maximum cleanliness.
Substrate priming
Application of a specialized adhesive primer (e.g., Knauf Betokontakt for concrete or deep-penetrating primer for highly absorbent substrates) to ensure optimal bonding with the plaster layer and prevent excessively fast drying.
Installation of screed rails (Guiding strips)
Precise installation of metal guiding strips using a laser level. These strips ensure that the final plaster layer will be perfectly vertical, even, and of consistent thickness across the entire wall surface.
Installation of corner beads
Installation of galvanized or aluminum corner beads on all external corners. This step reinforces the edges against mechanical damage and ensures sharp, clean, and straight lines in the final result.

Embedding of fiberglass reinforcing mesh (min. 145 g/m²) at points where different materials join (e.g., brick and concrete column), as well as around door and window openings, to prevent stress cracks.
Machine or manual plaster application
Application of the chosen plaster mix (e.g., lime-cement Baumit MPI 25 or gypsum Knauf MP 75) to a standard thickness of 10-15 mm. Machine application for large areas ensures speed, uniformity, and better adhesion.
Levelling with H-profile screed
Immediately after application, the wet plaster is levelled with long aluminum H-profile screeds, which slide along the pre-installed guiding strips. This step creates a perfectly flat surface before the plaster begins to set.
Structuring and final smoothing (Floating)
After initial setting, the surface is sprayed with a fine water mist and treated with a sponge or felt float. This process brings fine particles to the surface, closes pores, and creates a smooth base, ready for skimming.
Removal of guiding strips and filling
Once the plaster has sufficiently hardened, the metal guiding strips are carefully removed. The resulting channels are precisely filled with the same material and smoothed to completely blend with the surrounding surface.
Final inspection and cleaning
Comprehensive quality inspection of all plastered surfaces for flatness, verticality, and absence of defects. The site is cleaned of all waste related to plastering and handed over ready for the next stage.

1. Initial survey and measurement
Our technician visits your site to assess the condition of the walls, measure the exact area (m²) and identify the type of substrate (brick, concrete, aerated concrete). We discuss your requirements and recommend the most suitable type of plaster.

Based on the survey, we prepare a detailed quote outlining material costs, labour, and execution schedule. Upon agreement, we sign a contract specifying the 30/40/30 payment plan and the terms of the 15-year warranty.

3. Mobilization and site preparation
Our team arrives on site, sets up the equipment (plastering machine, mixers, tools) and prepares the work area. This includes protecting floors, windows, and plumbing/electrical installations with durable polyethylene film and tape.

4. Substrate cleaning and priming
Walls are thoroughly cleaned of dust, mortar residues, and formwork oils. The appropriate primer is applied – deep-penetrating for porous blocks or bonding primer for smooth concrete – and left to dry completely according to manufacturer's instructions.

5. Installation of guides and reinforcement
Using a laser level, we install corner beads and guiding strips (maistra's laths) that define the final plane of the wall. We lay fiberglass mesh over joints of different materials and in areas of stress concentration.

6. Plaster application and leveling
The plaster (e.g., Baumit MPI 25) is mixed to a perfect consistency in the machine and sprayed evenly onto the walls between the guides. Immediately thereafter, our craftsmen use H-shaped screeds to remove excess material and create a flat surface.

7. Floating and finishing
When the plaster begins to set (usually after 90-180 minutes, depending on conditions), the surface is treated with a float. This process compacts the plaster and brings a fine layer to the surface, creating a smooth, non-porous base suitable for skim coating.

8. Drying and demobilization
The guiding strips are removed and the channels are filled. The work site is cleaned. We provide instructions for proper drying – ensuring good ventilation but avoiding strong drafts and direct sunlight, which can cause cracking. We perform a final inspection with the client before final payment.

Knauf MP 75 L – Gypsum machine plaster
Lightweight, single-layer gypsum plaster for interior walls and ceilings. Optimized for machine application, it offers high yield and a smooth surface. With a thermal conductivity coefficient (λ) of ≈0.35 W/mK and fire class A1, it is ideal for residential and public buildings. Requires a minimum thickness of 8 mm.
Baumit MPI 25 – Lime-cement machine plaster
Vapour-permeable and extremely strong lime-cement plaster for internal use. Its alkalinity makes it naturally mold-resistant, making it a perfect choice for kitchens, bathrooms, and coastal properties in Varna and Burgas. Its compressive strength is >2.5 N/mm², making it an excellent base for tiling.
Knauf Betokontakt – Bonding primer
