What we deliver and which problem we solve
What we deliver
Infra Remonti EOOD specializes in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-quality metal fences. Our activity covers the full range of solutions: modern fences made of horizontal or vertical steel profiles, classic wrought iron fences with rich ornamentation, and functional fencing systems made of electro-welded mesh panels. Our services are aimed at owners of private properties, houses, and villas, as well as corporate clients needing secure perimeter protection for residential complexes, industrial sites, logistics bases, and commercial facilities. We have our own manufacturing base, equipped with professional metalworking machines, including MIG/MAG and TIG welding machines (Esab), plasma cutters, and guillotines, allowing us to fulfill orders with high precision and customized design. Our teams consist of certified welders and experienced installers. We primarily operate in Varna and Burgas, where we apply mandatory increased standards for anti-corrosion protection (hot-dip galvanizing and marine-grade coatings) due to the aggressive salty climate. We also carry out projects in Plovdiv and Sofia, adapting the design and construction to specific urban and architectural requirements. For every custom project, we prepare CAD drawings for approval before manufacturing begins.
Which problem we solve
The main problem we solve is the need for a durable, secure, and aesthetically pleasing fence that does not become a source of constant costs and concerns. A poorly executed metal fence leads to a number of technical and financial consequences. The most common problem, especially in coastal cities like Varna, is rapid corrosion. Without adequate preparation and protection, rust appears within 1-2 years, destroys the paint, discolours concrete foundations, and compromises the structural integrity of the metal. We solve this problem through multi-stage treatment: sandblasting of the metal to Sa 2.5, followed by hot-dip galvanizing according to EN ISO 1461 or application of zinc-phosphate epoxy primer, and finally powder coating. Another serious risk is weak welds and incorrectly sized profiles, which can break during attempted intrusion or strong winds – a common phenomenon on the Black Sea coast. Our certified welders and engineering approach guarantee the strength of every joint. The problem of tilting columns, caused by shallow or poor-quality concrete foundations, is eliminated by excavating foundations to a depth of at least 70-80 cm and using C20/25 class concrete, which ensures stability even in heavy soil conditions and frost.

What does metal fence construction include?
Every element of the process is key to the final result, security, and longevity of your investment.
Geodetic survey and marking
Precise determination of fence lines according to the property's cadastral plan. We use laser levels and total stations for accurate positioning of each column point, ensuring compliance with property boundaries to the nearest centimetre and avoiding future legal disputes with neighbours.
Excavation of post holes
Mechanised or manual excavation of holes for load-bearing columns. Standard depth is 60-80 cm with a diameter of 25-30 cm, providing stability against frost heave and wind loads. For industrial fences over 2.2 m high, the depth is increased to 100-120 cm.
Concrete foundations for posts (concrete steps)
Pouring individual concrete steps for each column with C20/25 class concrete. Each foundation is reinforced and left to gain strength for a minimum of 72 hours before column installation, to ensure the immovability of the fence's supporting structure.
Delivery and installation of metal columns
Installation of pre-primed and painted steel columns (e.g., 60x60x2 mm). The columns are anchored into the concrete and levelled vertically with an accuracy of up to 1 mm/m. Welding to anchor plates is performed by certified welders using the MIG/MAG method.
Manufacturing fence panels to size
Fabrication of fence panels in our workshop according to individual design and dimensions. This includes cutting, bending, and welding of steel profiles (e.g., 20x20x1.5 mm) or wrought iron elements. All welds are cleaned and ground to a smooth finish.
Anti-corrosion treatment - hot-dip galvanizing
For maximum protection, especially in marine environments like Varna and Burgas, we offer hot-dip galvanizing of all steel elements. The process involves immersion in molten zinc at 450°C, creating a metallurgical bond and a coating thickness of 80-120 microns.
Powder electrostatic painting
Application of a polymeric powder coating in a colour from the RAL catalogue. The process includes electrostatic spraying and subsequent baking at 180-200°C. This creates an extremely strong, even, and UV-resistant and scratch-resistant coating with a thickness of 60-80 microns.
Installation of fence panels and gates
Fastening of the finished panels to the mounted columns using specialized clamps or welding. Installation of pedestrian and vehicle gates, including adjustment of hinges, locks (Mauer, Gerda), and automation (BFT, Came), if provided for.
Installation of decorative elements
Adding final decorative wrought iron elements, such as finials, rosettes, ornaments, as well as fixing caps on the columns for a finished look and protection against water ingress.
Final cleaning and handover with warranty
Cleaning of the construction site of all debris, final inspection of every element and weld. We issue a 15-year written warranty covering the structural integrity of the fence and the anti-corrosion coating, as well as an acceptance and handover protocol.
Our process for building metal fences
We follow an established 8-step methodology to guarantee quality, transparency, and adherence to deadlines for each project.
- 1
Step 1: Free on-site visit and consultation
Our technical manager visits the site to take accurate measurements of the perimeter, assess the terrain (slopes, soil type), and discuss design, security, and height requirements with you. Based on this, we prepare a detailed offer with a 3D visualization (if needed) within 48 hours.
- 2
Step 2: Design and material selection
After acceptance of the offer, we finalize the technical project, including detailed drawings of each panel and gate. Specific profiles are selected (e.g., square, rectangular, solid), wall thickness (1.5, 2, 3 mm), and the type of anti-corrosion protection and final coating (RAL colour).
- 3
Step 3: Site preparation and marking
We clear the fence line of vegetation and obstacles. With the help of a rotary laser level and a theodolite, we mark the exact locations for each column, ensuring a perfectly straight line and even spacing between columns (usually 2.0-2.5 meters).
- 4
Step 4: Excavation and concreting of foundations
We excavate holes for the columns with a motor auger to the design depth (min. 60 cm). We place reinforcement, if necessary, and pour C20/25 class concrete. Anchor plates are embedded in the concrete or openings are left for subsequent installation of the columns.
- 5
Step 5: Workshop production
Parallel to the concrete works, the fabrication of metal elements begins in our facility. Steel profiles are cut to exact size, welded according to the drawing (TIG/MIG welds), and all joints are ground to a perfect smoothness. The elements are prepared for surface treatment.
- 6
Step 6: Anti-corrosion treatment and painting
The finished elements are transported to a specialized workshop for hot-dip galvanizing or treated with zinc primer. The next step is powder coating in the chosen RAL colour and baking in a chamber, which creates a hard and durable coating.
- 7
Step 7: Installation of columns and panels on site
After the concrete has gained strength (min. 7 days), we install the metal columns, levelling them precisely. Then the finished fence panels are installed, which are attached to the columns using special clamps with stainless bolts or discreet welds, which are treated and painted on-site.
- 8
Step 8: Final finishing works and acceptance
We install gates, locks, automation, and all decorative elements. We make final adjustments and settings. We clean the site and, together with the client, conduct an inspection for acceptance. An acceptance protocol is signed, and the 15-year written warranty is activated.

Materials that guarantee longevity
The choice of the right materials is at the heart of any quality metal fence. We work only with proven products and technologies.
Steel profiles (square, rectangular)
We use hot-rolled steel profiles according to EN 10025, steel grade S235JR. For load-bearing columns, we prefer sizes 60x60x2 mm or 80x80x3 mm, and for infill – 20x20x1.5 mm or 40x20x1.5 mm. This steel has a tensile strength of 360–510 MPa, which provides high resistance to bending and impact.
Wrought iron elements
For decorative fences, we use ready-made wrought iron elements or custom-make them from solid square or round profiles (e.g., 12x12 mm). The material is low-carbon steel, which allows for rich ornamentation and is extremely strong after treatment. All elements are welded, not glued.
Fence sandwich panels and sheet metal
For solid fences requiring privacy, we offer installation of fence panels with infill of profiled (trapezoidal) sheet metal with polymer coating (thickness 0.5 mm) or sandwich panels with polyurethane foam (thickness 40 mm). The panels also provide sound insulation (around 24 dB).
Anti-corrosion zinc primer
When hot-dip galvanizing is not selected, we apply a two-component epoxy primer with a high content of zinc dust (>80% in the dry film), such as Hempel's Galvosil 15700. It provides cathodic protection for the steel, preventing the spread of corrosion even with localized damage to the coating.
Powder polyester coating (Powder Coating)
We use exterior polyester powder paints, certified to Qualicoat Class 1. They provide a coating with a thickness of 60-100 microns, with excellent UV resistance (no fading), elasticity, and resistance to scratches and chemicals. Available in matte, satin, or glossy finish according to RAL.
Concrete class C20/25 (B25)
For the column foundations, we use factory-produced C20/25 class concrete, according to BDS EN 206. This concrete class has a characteristic compressive strength of 25 MPa after 28 days, which is entirely sufficient to bear the loads from the fence's weight and wind load, even in harsh winter conditions.
