Polyurethane sealant (Sikaflex-11 FC+)
For sealing joints in metal gutters, we use only professional one-component polyurethane sealants. Sikaflex-11 FC+ has the ability to absorb movements up to ±35% and excellent adhesion to metals, without the need for a primer. It retains its elasticity over a wide temperature range and is resistant to water and aging.
Fasteners and brackets
The devil is in the details. All screws and dowels for mounting brackets to the fascia board or wall are made of stainless steel (class A2) or have a Dacromet coating, to avoid premature corrosion of the fastener, which would compromise the strength of the entire system. Metal brackets are made of hot-dip galvanized steel with a thickness of 3-4 mm.
